Discussed process for reviewing Bay related items
- Agreed to focus on primary charter of Bay Commission as indicated in Chapter 16:15:3 of the Town Bylaws.
Reviewed proposed beach wall @ 321 King Caesar Rd.
- Commission did not find any concerns relative to health, safety, or conflicts, but recommends that BOS consider construction be consistent with current colors and materials of neighboring walls.
Preliminary review of proposed new pier on Water Street. Mr. Clifford has requested a time to present plans on 12/22 meeting.
Discussed suggestion that Commission invite all proponents and opposition regarding Bay related proposals. Agreed that unless the proposal is a Matter of Public Policy, no specific invitations need to be extended. All matter of public policy should be posted
Discussed Bay Commission attendance records. Agreed that we should review all matters concerning the Bay ASAP whether or not a quorum in present. Wording on written comments to the BOS should incorporate the words “members present”.
Don Beers and John Carnuccio updated the Commission on progress of the Moorings Task Force.
